Oracle 10g for Solaris 10
I got error message
“Checking operating system version: must be 5.8 or 5.9. Actual 5.10
Failed <<<< "
I fond an article said the installer could pass the above error by editing the file ~/Disk1/install/oraparam.ini”
[Certified Versions]
Solaris=5.8,5.9
to:
Solaris=5.8,5.9,5.10
After I changed this parameter, I was able to install the 10g on Solaris 10.
